• Brig. Dr. Safdar Hussain Awan S/0 Malik Khadim Hussain Awan, General surgeon and child specialist have served Pakistan Army around the world ie. Pakistan, Bosnia, Indonesia and Saudiarab. He also served as assistent professor at CMH Lahore medical college, teaching young doctors different surgery tehniques. Col. Safdar Awan, belongs to a very small village near Kharian named Jhantla and went to Govt. Central Model High School Lower Mall Lahore in his earlier days and he is also an old Ravian & Amcolian.
